LIBRARY FUN FACT!!!!!!

did u know.... libraries have more to offer than books?

(im surprised by how many people dont know this! but, to be fair, i didn't before i became a library tech student...)

libraries have audiobooks, magazines, movies, video games, databases, maps, historical items, genealogy resources, music streaming, dvds, equipment to rent (like binoculars and related equipment for birding, or a telescope for stargazing, or camping gear), seeds for gardening, free passes for museums and national parks, and more! all you need is a library card to get your hands on these! which, depending on the library, a lot of the time is stupid easy to obtain. at the minimum they need your name and email (but again it varies depending on the library. generally when you're signing up they'll let you know what information they need).

also, a lot of libraries work together and form reciprocal borrowing for cards. meaning you can use your main library's card at a totally different library and they'll accept it! again, you need to check to see if this is an option and where you can do this. but most libraries are buddy buddy with each other to give YOU access to as many materials and services as possible!:)

hi, im crows! there's not much to me. im a library technician student who's friends with crows. school aside, im very shy in real life. i have a hard time talking to people, and being around people in general. but crows have kept me good company.

in any case, i thought i'd put a piece of myself into the internet. enjoy your stay

hello friends! im back from my trip to berlin! im still going through all the videos i took and im going to make a vlog, ill post the link here when im done!:) berlin was beautiful, a lot of greenery, lots of graffiti art, lots of stickers, lots of art and best of all..... german crows..... german crows wear little grey vests and ive been so excited to see them. the crows in germany sound different and are very busy little creatures! i managed to come across a crow feather so i snatched it and its home now in my cup of other crow feathers. i also got to meet my penpal and their daughter and i very much enjoyed myself:,) although it was wonderful i am very glad to be back home, too. alright, talk to u later world wide web,
