LIBRARY FUN FACT!!!!!!

did u know.... libraries have more to offer than books?

(im surprised by how many people dont know this! but, to be fair, i didn't before i became a library tech student...)

libraries have audiobooks, magazines, movies, video games, databases, maps, historical items, genealogy resources, music streaming, dvds, equipment to rent (like binoculars and related equipment for birding, or a telescope for stargazing, or camping gear), seeds for gardening, free passes for museums and national parks, and more! all you need is a library card to get your hands on these! which, depending on the library, a lot of the time is stupid easy to obtain. at the minimum they need your name and email (but again it varies depending on the library. generally when you're signing up they'll let you know what information they need).

also, a lot of libraries work together and form reciprocal borrowing for cards. meaning you can use your main library's card at a totally different library and they'll accept it! again, you need to check to see if this is an option and where you can do this. but most libraries are buddy buddy with each other to give YOU access to as many materials and services as possible!:)

hi, im crows! there's not much to me. im a library technician student who's friends with crows. school aside, im very shy in real life. i have a hard time talking to people, and being around people in general. but crows have kept me good company.

happy thanksgiving to those of us on Turtle Island! not gonna celebrate or anything but i am gonna be extra thankful for my pals today... which speaking of i should make a post on my IG for my friends.. anyways, today im preparing for a literature quiz. im either gonna take it later today or tomorrow...

my motivation has been burnt out for a while, its tough getting myself into studying sometimes (hence my making this update post at the start of my day LOL). i just hope it doesnt last too much longer.

oh also when i visited my hometown i went candle huffing with my friend Gabe and i got 2 candles. ive been burning them back and forth because theyre both so nice, but at this pace they're gonna be gone by next weekend........ ok anyways, i should start my day for real. wishing everyone the best,
