about crows

i guess i should do an about me section and post some random stuff not related to resources.

i like to draw, write, cross stitch, paint on occasion, play video games, i like photography as well but i dont do it too often. i have a passion for teaching kids, i used to be an art teacher and i was really good at it. i was originally going to go to school to be a teacher because i love goblins so much, but i dont have the motivation to go to school for 5+ years to do that. thankfully though if i work in a public library i'll be able to showcase my ability to teach gremlins and run some kids art programs! thats my goal, anyway.

im really bad at talking about myself... uhh... what else?

my name is Clem (but i go by Crows online) im 23, im an aquarius, and im an INFJ. i love winter, spring and fall equally and i dont like summer. Halloween is my favourite holiday. my memory isn't too good.

my favourite thing to eat is triple o's burgers and fries with their honey mustard sauce. my favourite planet is Jupiter. i have a cat named Junebug. i love the moon, lavender, candles, soft blankets, IPA beers, my friends, animation/cartoons, and stargazing.

im obsessed with astarion. my favourite colour is #00B5B8. my favourite number is 22. my favourite pastime is reading my books at bars. leavanny is my favourite pokemon, though flaaffy and murkrow are up there too.

i have 3 tattoos, one of my dog sooki dressed as an alien (5 inches full colour with stars and sparkles), i have a mismatching crescent moon and my best friend has a sun (we got them done by the same artist on my 21st bday!) and i have a purple ladybug on my upper right arm for my grandpa. i plan to cover myself in crow tattoos once i have the money though.

i speak French but i cant write or read it very well. i really wanna visit Vietnam one day. i have internet friends ive known for 10 years+ :) (some of them, as well as irl friends are linked above with their own buttons!) i have 3 best friends because im greedy, one in my hometown, one in Texas and one in Japan. my favourite song is January by isaur.

my interview is all set up! sent the questions in and everything, so i dont need to worry about that until november. ive got a module and lectures to do today, and two this weekend. thankfully theres one class i didnt need to touch this week since im ahead. so much reading.... so little free time..... okay, gonna get to it.

finished 2 modules today, studied for a quiz, then took the quiz. im pretty sure i aced it, but we shall see... i just have a discussion post i gotta do tomorrow, and another module for information technology. if i do all that tomorrow then ill be able to take sunday off...!!!

so... why the name 'crows'?

my tag online is Friend of Crows. but ive had randoms and friends alike start just calling me 'crows' because it was easier. i then decided to start going by crows online instead of using my name!

so, my name isn't crow, its CROWS!!!! with an S!! i am friends with CROWS!! not one crow!!!!!/lh

fibrous dysplasia

i have a 1 in a million random incurable genetic bone disease. lucky me! it currently doesn't have a cure, though there are people researching one. i have it in my left femur, ive had a couple operations and done so many other things i cant remember them all to try and either 1. help with my pain or 2. hardware replacement / operating to get rid of tumors or cysts 3. injections. it triggered when i was 9 and playing tag with a kid, i slipped and fell funny. that triggered it and within 2 weeks i was having a major operation that looked rough for a minute apparently.

though, im happy to say since I've started using arm crutches 24/7 and been wayy more cautious i haven't had another operation or anything else done. i refuse to do anything honestly because it just causes me pain and stresses me out. i finally have some freedom and i have other things in my life aside from doctors appointments and hospital visits. i mean, i still have to see a specialist once a year because FD is very volatile and unpredictable, but other than that i spend my days with my nose in my books or my computer on this website. im much happier this way. if they find a cure i'll be the first to jump to the operation or whatever, but until then im staying faaarrr far away.
